DESCRIPTION:
Discover one of Dominica’s most iconic natural attractions at Trafalgar Falls, located in the lush Roseau Valley just 15–20 minutes from Roseau. Known as the “Mother and Father” falls, these twin waterfalls cascade from 60 meters (200 feet) into natural pools below, surrounded by vibrant tropical rainforest.
Take an easy to moderate hike along well-maintained trails that wind through ferns, orchids, and towering trees. Along the way, listen to the soothing sounds of the rainforest, feel the mist on your face, and enjoy the spectacular views from multiple lookout points.
Visitors can cool off in the natural pools at the base of the falls (where safe), making it a refreshing stop after a scenic walk. The area is rich in biodiversity, so keep your eyes open for tropical birds, butterflies, and the occasional iguana.
Trafalgar Falls is a must-visit for nature lovers, photographers, and anyone wanting to experience Dominica’s wild, untouched beauty up close. It’s the perfect combination of adventure, relaxation, and awe-inspiring scenery.
